If you haven’t tried the vegan milkshakes at Strong Hearts Cafe yet, you need to clear your schedule immediately. The menu includes freaky flavors like pumpkin espresso, cherry coconut, maple-vanilla Oreo, and green tea. And yes, they’re all freakin’ delicious.



But if you just remembered you’re a broke college student and can’t afford a $5 milkshake that isn’t covered by SUpercard, try this instead! In my first blog post of the semester, I raved about the Smart Stick Hand Blender by Cuisinart. I still swear by it, and this tutti-frutti concoction is my fave smoothie recipe on a warm spring day like yesterday.



Snag these ingredients from the dining hall or your grocer:



1 banana, sliced3-5 strawberries, sliced3-5 raspberries~8 oz. of orange juice



I suggest pouring the orange juice first and blending it in between adding fruits. To thicken the smoothie, add a couple spoonfuls of plain or Greek yogurt. Enjoy!
